The hard part of a Fremont birthday is not dinner. It is the bit after dinner, when the kitchen closes at ten and twelve people are standing in a car park deciding what to do.
The actual problem with Fremont birthdays
Dinner is easy. This city is full of good restaurants and most of them will take a table of ten.
The problem is that they close. By half past nine the kitchen is winding down, and you are left with a group who are not ready to go home, a restaurant that would like its table back, and no obvious second location. Everyone stands outside, somebody suggests a bar, half the group does not drink, and the evening quietly ends at ten.
What a birthday actually needs is a second place — somewhere that holds the whole group, stays open late, and does not need to turn the table over.
What we do for groups
- Tables pushed together. Message or call ahead with your numbers and we will set it up before you arrive rather than rearranging the room around you at nine on a Saturday.
- Bring your cake. No cakeage fee, no fuss. Bring candles, a lighter and a knife if it needs cutting — those are the three things people forget.
- No cover charge and no room hire. You pay for what you order. That is all.
- No minimum spend.
- Open late — 2 AM Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 1 AM the rest of the week. You are not being moved on at eleven.
- Decorations are fine. Balloons and a banner, no problem. Nothing that needs mounting to a wall.
What it costs
Budget roughly one hookah for every two to three people — a hookah is a shared thing, not a per-person order.

Two things that will catch you out
Everyone needs ID. Everyone.
We are 21+ and we check at the door, every person, every time. On a birthday this is the thing that goes wrong: one friend turns up without a wallet and cannot come in, in front of everybody. Put it in the group chat before the night, not on the way. And if the birthday is someone turning 21, that is genuinely a great reason to come — just make sure the date has actually passed.
We do not serve alcohol
Worth saying plainly so nobody arrives expecting a bar. For a lot of groups in this city that is the entire reason to book here: nobody has to explain why they are not drinking, and nobody has to drive home around other people's evening. If it matters to your group, here is the longer version.
Making a night of it
The version that works: dinner at eight on the Centerville strip — the Afghan restaurants a few doors up Fremont Boulevard will take a big table — then walk down the block and do cake, hookah and the rest of the night here. Park once, whole evening in one place.
If your birthday lands on a Thursday, there is live belly dance from 9 PM with no cover, which makes for a good night but a busy room — tell us further ahead.
